Re-upholstering our Dining Chairs

Hello Everyone!

How  to re-upholster a (dining) chair is very easy and even more, if you have  the right tools but don’t worry the basic tools will do  the trick.

Things you need:
1. fabric of your choice
In this case since the chair pad has a lot of stains, I had to cover it with white fabric before putting my plastic cover. Otherwise the result will  not be satisfactory. I chose plastic/vinyl aka table cloth so the dirt won’t stick  to it and easy to clean.
2. Staple Gun and lots of staple gun wires – a MUST
3. Scissors
4. Screw Driver – a MUST.
5. Drill – optional

Step 1. Unscrew the chair pad

Step 2. Remove all the staple wires

Tsk…Tsk… I hate the stains.

You need lots of patience…the staple wires for just one chair.

Step 3. Place  the chair pad on top of the fabric. Leave at least 4 inches allowance for all sides. Cut.

Step 4. flip the chair pad. front pad facing down and start stapling

Step  5. Cut the excess.

Step 6. Screw it back to  the chair frame

Tada!

The old and new…

I hope you enjoyed  this very simple tutorial. Thanks for reading.

Be inspired!
