My First dress using New Look Pattern 6968

Good day My Friends!

I wanted to share with you my first dress using New Look Pattern. I have to admit  that I am not pro in sewing. I learned dress making way back in high school and thats it. I hardly even remember some of the techniques our teacher taught  us. When I started sewing again, I had to make simple project first like throw pillow cases. I did a lot of  research and watch tutorials in you tube. When I got little confidence, I tried making my first ever dress using patterns. I bought these at Spotlight and fortunately, it was on sale.

At first, it  was overwhelming by just looking at the instructions and the different pattern sizes. We’ll there is always a “first time”. It took me some time to understand the step by step procedures and just getting it right to my body measurement. So, here is the pattern…

The result…

new look Pattern 6968, new look pattern, pattern 6968

I  think it’s  not  bad for a first timer. What do you think? please drop a comment.

Thanks for reading. See you!
