Looking back at 2012

2012 has been a fruitful and blessed year for us. Of course, there were problems along the way but nothing BIG.

Before the big day, We manage to travel to Genting, Malaysia. The place is cold all year round. Great view and it was amazing to be in a theme park on top of the mountain. I’ll talk about our Genting get-away in another post.

Feeding our little boy

she’s one proud sister.
she was the most excited among us.

Our precious Baby Boy came to our lives. He was a perfect gift for our anniversary. The kids are healthy and growing. There were days that the house was not in order but we managed. Having 2 kids is pretty tough especially when you are alone taking care of them. Hubby is very busy with work yet he always find time for family bonding moments.

she kept on touching my belly, trying to listen
and
 talked to her brother

Baptism of little Dave Karol. It was a very tight schedule for us but we were able to find the time and had small celebration with family and relatives.

Fortunately this Christmas, we will be celebrating with our family and friends. Yey!. Lastly, we were able to join an outreach program that I had long been wanting to do for years now.

It was fun and a good exposure for my kid. It is a reminder for us that we are blessed and fortunate to have food on the table, shelter and other material things while these kids and mothers are at Family Life Center almost everyday so that they can eat a decent food.
you see that lady in white
with a big smile? yeah, that’s me.
Gifts for kids & some
basic food for the mothers

In reality, Me and my immediate family were once like them. A child who don’t have a decent clothes, no slippers nor shoes, no decent house, no room of our own, sometimes we eat only once a day. Those years were tough but I am happy as to what we have become. I know there are a lot of people out there who are in a situation worst than we had.
I am hoping and praying that someday the lives of these children and their family will be better.
I am looking forward for the upcoming years to do this again together with my family.

Whatever problems or trials you are in now, remember that it is not forever. Don’t complain instead count the blessings that come your way.

Happy Christmas Friends!

Beautiful post! Everything is always in a state of motion. Meaning change always happens. Everything is temporary. I had to keep this in mind when going through some very dire and tough times.

May you and your family (adorable kids, by the way) have a wonderful and blessed holiday season. Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on my blog. It is very much appreciated. :)
