Hello! Good day my Friends!
When I found out that I was pregnant with our little boy, I looked around for a good estimate about the cost of Pregnancy and Maternity package here in Singapore. After so much research, we still could not gauge how much we should prepare before the big day.
So, I hope this post will be a great help to mothers and fathers to be out there who plan to give birth here in Singapore. I suggest bloat your budget to prepare for unexpected things and get the antenatal package a.s.a.p. so you could save yourself some hundred dollars.

Wow, I never thought of the cost of delivery. I had three kiddos and all three were fully covered under insurance. With the last one I had to see a specialist a few times, and still never paid a dime out of pocket. Are you originally from Singapore?

Hi Angie G.
No, I am not a native of Singapore. I am from Philippines and migrated here. We are not a resident yet nor a citizen. Oh yes, it is very expensive here in SG. As far as I know, there is no insurance who will cover the whole pregnancy and maternity package in SG. Although, my husband’s company where he works has pedia benefits but only up to a certain amount. There are insurance I know that will cover if there is complication. Good thing, I did not have any.
Thanks for visiting and see you around Angie G.
