Do you have a pizza night? I am not really a fan of commercial pizza so I like making my own. It is also a cheaper and healthier choice. Here is a very easy pizza dough recipe. My daughter was helping me out while I carry Baby DK.
2 cups flour
1 cup Bread flour
1 envelope bakers yeast
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp salt to taste
#extra flour for kneading
1 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
Combine all dry ingredients then add olive oil then pour water. Knead the dough until texture is fine and elastic.
Place dough back into the bowl. Cover with damp cloth. Let it rise for 2 hours.
If its too sticky just sprinkle flour unto the dough.
To make the pizza
Divide the dough into half. Flatten. Add your choice of sauce, cheese and toppings. Bake at 200C for 10-15mins.
