Pork with Onion in Soy Sauce

Hello Everyone!

I am going to share another family’s favorite. Pork with onions in soy sauce adapted from Filipino Beef steak recipe. Again, very easy to cook and you can finish this in 30mins. 

1/4 kg Pork, shoulder butt thinly sliced
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2 bay leaves
1 onion, medium size
1 1/2 cup water
pepper to taste

Corn Starch mixture
1 1/2 tsp corn starch
2 tbsp water


Step 1. Combine pork, soy sauce, bay leaves and water. 
Step 2. Simmer until pork is tender. Add water if necessary.
Step 3. Add onion.
Step 4. Add cornstarch mixture then add pepper to taste
Step 5. Serve with hot rice and enjoy!

add more water until pork gets tender.
