We are Fried Chicken lovers. I usually prefer the thigh part because it’s juicy. I wanted to serve a different Fried Chicken recipe for dinner. This was cook a little different. I steamed the chicken first before frying. I seasoned the chicken using Crispy Fry seasoning. This can be bought at any Filipino store.I am not sure if the Asian Store have this.
- 6 Chicken Drumstick
- 1 pack Crispy Fry Seasoning
- Oil for frying
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 dried bay leaves
Pour water in wok then add garlic, bay leaves, and pepper corns.
Arrange chicken and steam for 20mins. (I cut some slits to help cook the chicken fast.)
Season chicken with Crispy Fry. Do not finish the whole Crispy Fry seasoning pack. Reserve the rest before frying the chicken. Let it set for 30 mins. If you do not have Crispy Fry, season chicken with your favorite seasoning.
Pour the remaining seasoning in a zip lock, coat chicken one by one before frying.
Step 5. Enjoy!
