Good day friends! I never do meal planning until recently. I have to get organize with the food I prepare for my family. I hate those moments when I keep on asking myself what to cook for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. I have seen the importance of meal planning and having a printed sheet of all the meals I needed to prepare for the week. Although, I don’t follow it 100% because there are times we crave for specific dish. Meal planning gave me an idea what food to prepare on the table and what food I can cook in bulk so I could freeze some for days that I don’t want or don’t have time to cook.
Saves time and money you say? yes, by having a list of all the dishes, you can already create your own grocery list. Previously, I walk thru every aisle of the grocery store which allows me to get things that aren’t needed and I tend to overshoot with our budget. Never again.
Meal Planning lesson 101:
- Stick to your list as much as possible
- Try to look out for those grocery items from your list that are on sale. I sometimes do online grocery shopping, the first thing I should do is check those items that are in their sale tab.
- Buy in bulk or big volume for items that you use everyday. You can save a few dollars.
