How To Make Clubhouse Sandwich

Did you know that Club Sandwich or also known as Clubhouse Sandwich appeared in US restaurants as far back as 1899? Well, just believe it because that’s what WiKipedia said so :) There are also a lot of version of it, to name some are turkey, roast, chicken, and beef. But today I am going to share our family’s own version of Clubhouse Sandwich. I am not a fan of cutting the sides of the sandwich, well I don’t understand why restaurants cut it though. haha.

Anyway, I sometimes make this sandwich for breakfast. This is also great for pack lunch or snacks. I also make  in batches then refrigerate for later. Enjoy this recipe!

I did not put any measurements here because you can add as much or as little as you want. I made 2 versions below. You can follow my version or combine them together. It’s all up to you besides you are the one who’s going to eat it :)

Sandwich Bread

Slice Cheese

Scambled Eggs

Step 1.

Grab a slice of sandwich bread, spread mayonnaise.

Step 2.

Let us start layering. Add lettuce, then ham or bacon then tomatoes and or onions then add slice cheese.

Step 3.

Grab another slice of sandwich bread, spread mayonnaise both sides then add scrambled eggs then add another layer of sandwich bread with mayonnaise on both sides.

Version 1

Step 4.

Add ham, tomatoes, onions then add ham then to end it off add slice cheese and slice bread with mayonnaise at the bottom side. Then stick a toothpick.

Version 2

Step 4a.

Add sliced cheese then to end it off add another sliced bread with mayonnaise at the bottom. Then stick a toothpick. You can use those colorful and pretty toothpick.

Make this sandwich how you want it to be.

Clubhouse Sandwich with Onions

I use wholegrain Sandwich bread and ham instead of bacon. Then I added onions that I soaked in vinegar with sugar for 5-10mins. This will tame the smell of onions.

Clubhouse Sandwich

I used white bread and bacon instead of ham.

Here’s a video tutorial that I made. It is a bit dark. I am still trying to make things work with my Olympus camera. Anyways, enjoy!

Please pin this recipe for later or share it with your friends :) Thanks for stopping today my friends.  Talk to you soon.
