Typhoon Haiyan Relief Good Operation Update

We had a donation drive last month for the Typhoon “Haiyan” victims in the northern part of Cebu, Philippines. We were able to generate US$120 plus P1,000.00. All in all in Peso we had P5,820.00 which we donated to the team of Mary Ty. They are private individuals who have been going to the northern part of Cebu, Capiz and Panay Areas where each provinces were devastated by the Super Typhoon Haiyan.  They work hand in hand with the people on the ground and they do not pass thru any politicians (which I think is great!). The relief goods went directly  to the people.

Here are some photos of the Typhoon Haiyan Relief Good Operation and FB message from Mary Ty. The donation we have collected from Pursuit of Functional Home Blog were added to the funds to buy 36 sacks of rice.

It was not easy to bring all the goods to the islets.  The team had some obstacles along the way but with God’s grace the team reached their destination safe and sound.

The team still continues to organize relief operation to areas that’s hard to reach. If you are interested to donate, you can send it via my paypal account: do8urself@gmail.com OR you can directly email Mary Ty at verymaryty@yahoo.com.ph.

Thank you again Donors, you know who you are!

Everyday is a brand new day for us. Keep safe everyone!
