I am so excited as always to share this super easy project. We don’t use bed frame for the safety of our kids. Yes, we still sleep together. Behind our bed is a wall that has chipped paint that I have been dying to cover. I don’t have plans to repaint it since it will be covered by a head board anyway. Speaking of which, today I am sharing my headboard project using flower decorative mat and molding.
Spray paint Primer Gray and Dull Black
Bostik No More Nails
Molding (any molding of your choice).
1. Cut the molding to the desired length
2. Sand rough edges.
3. Spray paint with primer. Let it dry then spray paint with Dull Black spray paint.
4. Let it dry.
5. Glue the mat on the wall using No More Nails and secure it with thumb tacks. Once dry, remove thumb tacks.
6. Apply No More Nails on the back of the molding. I glued the horizontal molding first then the verticals. Please follow the instruction found at the back of the packaging.
Tips: I used thumb tacks to help the moldings stay in place while the adhesive was still drying.
I have to hold and pressed the vertical moldings hard until it was secured and doesn’t move.

Now the after pictures…
CLC Center Casing Moulding 1inx4inx8ft = P208 x 2 = P416
Bostik No More Nails 100g =P45
Nikken WP Sand Paper 120 = P18
RJ Acrylic Spray Paint Dull Black = P169.75
RJ Acrylic Spray Paint Primer Grey = P239.75
Decorative Mat 2 meters = P200
Total Project Cost = P1,088.50
I would say that this project cost less than P1,000 ($23). There are a lot of left overs that I can use for my next project.
