If you’ve been following this blog for quite a while you might have read about the house that we purchased 2 years ago (you can read it here if you missed it). I also shared a post about the bare house interior tour just to give you an insight about the lay-out of the house.
Well now our own townhouse unit is finally done. We are almost ready to move in. We can start decorating and attend to the basic needs like water, electricity and furnishings. I have been monitoring this house for so long. It took the contractor a year to finish our townhouse unit.
There are still tons and tons of things that need to be done. We went for a black and white theme but we are not limiting ourselves to these classic colors. Definitely, there are splashes of colors here and there.
Just to give a glimpse of where we are in terms of furnishing and decorating. Here’s a sneak peek of the Master’s Bedroom. As you can see, little boy wanted to open the drawer. We still have to purchase the handle or maybe just cut a circular hole. We wanted a queen bed frame with drawer storage in it. There are 2 drawers at each side. The foam is 6 inches thick queen size.
Just today, we finally installed the 1hp aircon. The color of the grills is black with gold design. For my friends who are wondering why we are putting grills on our windows, this is for security purposes. Here in Philippines it is very common to install grills on the windows and glass doors.
The headboard is obviously not done yet. It will be done soon once baby #3 comes out. For now it will stay like that. The black side tables are from Ikea as well as the lamp.
I’ll be talking in the succeeding post about decorating, home improvements, DIY and home tour. It is quite exciting and fun to decorate but stress goes with it too. You’ll read some rants here and there but I’ll keep that to the minimum.
Bye for now and talk to you soon!
