Veni, Vidi, Vici by Julius Ceasar is what I can describe this project. Early stage of furnishing our new home, we have to acquire new kitchen cabinets. I never thought kitchen cabinets would cut a substantial amount to our furnishing budget. We had a simple laminated kitchen cabinets with 1 or 2 shelves in it.
Our plates, glasses, cups and saucers were organized like this before:
Obviously, we have to bend or squat to get anything from this cabinet. Now, is the time to conquer this space.
I saw these stainless steel pull out kitchen rack from Citi Hardware and Ace Hardware that immediately captured my attention. These hardware stores carry different brands. I had been contemplating whether I should have a carpenter make drawers or buy these gorgeous pull out wire rack. I chose the latter.
Installation is not that hard at all. The important thing in this project is to have the correct cabinet measurement before buying. I measured the end to end of the cabinet (length, depth, width and height) and showed it to the sales staff who were very eager to assist me in buying the things that I needed for this project. Also, to make the installation easy, power tools like electric screw driver was very handy. At first,I manually install the racks but ended up hurting my palm because the wood was a bit tough.
Now, it is accessible and organized. I bought Plates, Cups and Saucer, and All Purpose racks.
The roller is nice and smooth when pulled. The racks can be easily removed from the rollers too.
As always, I love before and after.
