Soft Chewy Sugar Cookies

 

Hi guys! We made this soft, chewy Sugar Cookies and we all love it. This recipe yields about 30-40 cookies but we can finish it all just within 2 days.  You can always use healthier sweetener for this recipe. You can also freeze the dough for later use. It is a great snack that everyone always enjoys.

So yummy and easy to make. Not the healthiest but they are delicious. Indulging ourselves on these yummy cookies once in a while maybe won’t hurt us ;) (wink)

Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (fine)
  • 1 cup Butter (unsalted, room temp)
  • 2 cups Sugar (brown/ white)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy about 2-3 mins.
Step 4
Add eggs one at a time, beat.
Step 5
Add Vanilla extract.
Step 6
Gradually, add flour mixture. Mix until combine. Do not over mix.
Step 7
Drop heaping tablespoon of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. You may also use an ice cream scoop.
Step 8
Bake for 12-15 mins. Enjoy this yummy treat!
