Hi everyone! So happy to finally share with you guys our Bohol trip last November 2017. We asked our friend Marlon to prepare our Bohol itinerary since he knows the place better than us. He prepared everything for us such as hotel accommodation, Ocean jet tickets, transportation, entrances and boat for dolphin watching and island hopping. All we needed to do is pay him and go to Bohol. We didn’t have to line up at the entrances to pay. We just sit, wait and off we go. If you are interested to avail of Marlon’s service, you may contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Kindly mention my name so he will know you learned about him from my site.
So, our first day itinerary was…
When we arrived, our driver was already there waiting for us. We went to Bee farm first. Had some ice cream and headed to eat lunch at their Lomboy Restaurant..
What I really love the most are their spreads. Loved it so much. They have complimentary food like these bread and homemade chips.
Since we had ice cream first, we didn’t get to enjoy the main dishes. As for the price, it was a bit high. Maybe because it is homegrown and organic. They are serving healthy dishes.
The kids love the cheese pizza.
This was my order. I really cannot remember the name but it was fish. The fish taste like paksiw na isda without the soup. The garden salad was one thing that I really wanted to try again. The flowers are edible!
I have to take a pic of these lovely trash bins.
After Bee Farm, we headed to Dauis Church. You must check out the video below to see its beautiful ceiling paintings.
It was raining so hard that we needed to skip Hinagdanan Cave. After Dauis Church, we headed to Dumaluan. I did not know that there are 2 Dumaluan Resorts. We went to Resort 2 initially then we realized that we were actually reserved at Resort 1. Dumaluan Resort 2 is private than the other one which has common beach area. The price was higher of course than Dumaluan Resort 1. But they share the same beach. If I were to recommend, I’d rather stay in Dumaluan 2. I think the rooms are better.
What I really like with Dumaluan Resort 1 are the Staff. They are very friendly and nice. I also love that they have “turo-turo” grill restaurant. The prices was fair enough. Dumaluan Resort 2 also have a restaurant but on a higher end. We ate at both restaurants, we ended up eating mostly at Resort 1.
Our room in Dumaluan resort 1 was bare minimum. The interior design was ok but I really don’t like their toilet. Maybe next time, we will stay in Resort 2 then still eat at Resort 1.
The beach was beautiful. It was low tide when we arrived. We had a blast at the beach. The sand is fine and white. The water was clear and the air was so fresh. I am day dreaming right now.
Watch the video below for more about our Day 1.
I hope you enjoy our little tour of our Day 1. We hope you guys feel like somehow a part of this trip. Thank you and stay tune for Day 2.
